These terms govern your use of Canopy, an iOS app by Stellar Apps LLC. By downloading or using Canopy, you agree to them. Canopy is a subscription app, and its readings draw on traditional astrological texts — offered for personal interest and reflection, not as professional advice. Please read the subscription terms below.
1. Who we are and acceptance
Canopy ("the app") is operated by Stellar Apps LLC ("we", "us", "our"), a limited liability company registered in the United States. By accessing or using Canopy, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. The service
Canopy provides astrological readings — including planetary hours, the lunar mansions, natal-chart interpretation, electional and talismanic timing, and transits — drawn from classical sources in the Arabian astrological tradition. Using the app requires Sign in with Apple and an active subscription (see Section 5). Features and content may change, improve, or be discontinued over time.
3. For reflection, not professional advice
Canopy is provided for personal interest, reflection, and entertainment. Its readings are not professional advice and are no substitute for qualified medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional guidance. Do not rely on the app to make important decisions. You are solely responsible for the choices you make.
4. Eligibility
Canopy is intended for users aged 13 and over, and requires an Apple Account to sign in and subscribe. By using the app you confirm that you meet these requirements.
5. Subscription and billing
Canopy is provided as an auto-renewable subscription, and an active subscription is required to use the app. The following terms apply:
- Pricing is shown in the app before you confirm any purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account upon confirmation.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), or in the app at Settings → Subscription → Manage Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
- Free trials: if a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when a paid subscription begins.
Billing, renewals, and refunds are processed by Apple under your Apple Account, not by us.
6. Refunds
Purchases are made through the Apple App Store, and refunds are handled by Apple. To request one, visit Apple's Report a Problem page (reportaproblem.apple.com). If you'd like our help, contact canopyappsupport@stellarappsllc.com.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Canopy. In particular, you will not: copy, resell, or redistribute the app or its content; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract its source or data except where permitted by law; interfere with its operation or security; or use it for any unlawful purpose.
8. Intellectual property
Canopy, its name, the muhr mark, its design, and its original content are owned by Stellar Apps LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws. The classical source texts referenced in the app are in the public domain or used in accordance with their respective rights; attributions appear within the app. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes.
9. Disclaimers
Canopy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading is accurate, complete, or suitable for your circumstances.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stellar Apps LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — Canopy or any decision made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app. Continued use of Canopy after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. This does not deprive you of any consumer protections to which you are entitled under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
