Canopy Brings Arabian Astrology to iPhone Duo with a Native Two-Page Layout

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CALIFORNIA, October 23, 2026 — Canopy Astrology, the first and only app dedicated to the traditional astrological practices of the medieval Arabic-speaking world, is ready for iPhone Duo on the day Apple's foldable reaches customers. Since version 1.0.28, Canopy has opened into a native two-page layout on iPhone Duo's inner display, so the app reads like an open book: the day's reading on one page and its full interpretation on the other. The layout works in both of the app's themes, Coffee Cream and Midnight.

On iPhone Duo, users can follow the current planetary hour and the full day of hours, tonight's lunar mansion among the 28 manāzil al-qamar, their natal chart with essential dignities, whole-sign houses, and the Arabic lots, and electional windows for choosing the right moment, each with its explanation alongside.

Readings are drawn from the classical sources of the Islamic Golden Age, including al-Bīrūnī, Abū Maʿshar, Māshāʾallāh, Sahl ibn Bishr, and al-Ṣūfī, rather than generated by AI. Arabic terminology, transliterations, and translations help users understand these techniques within their original cultural and linguistic contexts.

Canopy also includes 35 fixed stars, talismanic timing, and Home Screen widgets. The app is available in English, Arabic, and Turkish, and is rated 4.8 stars on the US App Store.

Canopy Astrology is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. It is free to download, with a 7-day free trial where offered, followed by a subscription.
